TB40 STC for Beech 400A Aircraft
Peregrine developed and certified STC ST01999WI for the True Blue Power TB40 for installation in Textron Aviation (Beechcraft) 400A aircraft.

The True Blue Power TB40 Lithium Ion Airplane Battery is a replacement for the original Lead-Acid main ship battery. It is installed in the same location as the original battery in the aft tail cone compartment, saving over 56 pounds compared to the current Concorde lead-acid battery. The TB40 installation includes system control and annunciation on the MD23 battery monitor. Additionally, there is an on-board status indicator on the face of the TB40 provides on-demand health status and state of charge.

Engineering Data Packages for unique installation requirements
Peregrine develops serial number specific engineering data packages for the installation of new equipment. Easier and more readily accepted than field approvals, Peregrine-developed data packages can be the solution for your unique modification situations.

A recent example is the Peregrine data package developed for the P-51 “Ain’t Misbehavin'” cockpit modernization. Peregrine delivered 8110-3 and Flight Manual Supplement documents in addition to system substantiation and electrical installation drawing adding a number of Garmin displays and systems to the P-51 panel.

We are pleased to announce our latest STC, ST01999WI covering the installation of True Blue Power TB40 main ship battery in the Beech 400A aircraft. This is another project that we have completed for Mid-Continent Instruments/True Blue Power.

We also would like to highlight another aspect of our capabilities, the development of serial number specific engineering data packages. We created a data package for a cocpit upgrade of P-51 “Ain’t Misbehavin'”. This approach can streamline complex, multisystem installation, avoiding inevitable delays using the flied approval process.
